WHO（世界保健機関）は、新型コロナウイルスについて「夏になれば消えると考えるのは誤りだ」と過度な期待を戒め、今できる対策に全力を尽くすべきだと訴えました。

そのうえで「自然消滅を期待せず、今こそウイルスと闘わなければならない」と強調しました。

また、日本と韓国を巡っては週明けから互いに入国規制を強化することについて「有効ではない」として自制を促しました。
