山梨県の小菅村では年末年始の帰省に合わせて一足早く成人式が行われました。　
In Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, the coming-of-age ceremony is held earlier than usual to coincide with the year-end and New Year's holidays.
人口およそ650人の小菅村では、進学や就職で若者の多くが村を離れるため、年末年始の帰省シーズンに合わせて、毎年1月2日に成人式を行っています。　
Kosuge Village, with a population of about 650 people, because many young people leave the village for higher education or work, the Coming of Age Ceremony is held on January 2 every year, coinciding with the New Year holiday.
先ほど行われた式典には4人の新成人が晴れ着姿などで出席しました。
At the ceremony just held earlier, 4 new adults attended in their best clothes.
舩木直美村長が祝辞を述べて新たな門出を祝いました。　
Village Mayor Naomi Funaki congratulated the new start with a speech. 　
「戻ってきて人の温かさを感じる会でした。まだまだ若いので、いっぱい遊んで楽しく過ごしたい」
“It was a meeting where I felt the warmth of humanity at home. I'm still young, so I want to play a lot and have a good time."
「私たちのためにこういう盛大な式を開いてくれて、すごいうれしいです」　
"I'm so glad they organized such a big ceremony for us."
新成人たちは、恩師らと思い出話に花を咲かせ、記念撮影をするなどして久しぶりの再会を喜びました。
Young adults reminisce about old teachers, take commemorative photos, and happily reunite after so many years apart.
