東京 新宿区の会社員、谷本将志容疑者（35）は、8月20日、神戸市内にあるマンションのエレベーターの中で、24歳の会社員の女性をナイフで刺して殺害した疑いが持たれています。
Masashi Tanimoto, a 35-year-old company employee from Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo, is suspected of fatally stabbing a 24-year-old female company employee with a knife inside an elevator in a condominium in Kobe City on August 20.
これまでの調べで容疑者は、およそ50分間にわたって職場から帰宅する女性のあとをつけて、マンションで襲った疑いがあり、事件後は徒歩で現場から離れましたが、その後、タクシーに乗って新神戸駅に向かったとみられることが、捜査関係者への取材で分かりました。
Based on the investigation so far, it is suspected that the suspect followed a woman returning home from work for about 50 minutes and attacked her at her apartment building. After the incident, the suspect left the scene on foot, but it has been learned from interviews with investigators that the suspect is believed to have later taken a taxi to Shin-Kobe Station.
新神戸駅からは、新幹線で東京方面に移動し、事件の2日後に都内で逮捕されていて、警察は、急いで現場から逃げようとしたとみて調べています。
From Shin-Kobe Station, he took the Shinkansen toward Tokyo, and was arrested in Tokyo two days after the incident. The police believe he tried to quickly flee the scene and are investigating.
一方、谷本容疑者は調べに対し、被害者の女性について、「全く知らない人です」と供述し、2人に具体的な接点は確認されていないということで、警察が詳しいいきさつを捜査しています。
On the other hand, during questioning, suspect Tanimoto stated about the female victim, I have no idea who she is, and no specific connection between the two has been confirmed. The police are investigating the details of the circumstances.
