The preliminary results of the Cabinet Offices public opinion survey on national life have been released, and measures against rising prices is expected to be the most frequently cited issue that people want the government to focus on for the third consecutive year.

この世論調査は内閣府が毎年行っているもので、ことしは先月から今月にかけて全国の18歳以上の5000人を対象に実施し、全体の55％に当たる2729人から回答を得た段階の速報値が公表されました。
This opinion poll is conducted annually by the Cabinet Office. This year, it was carried out nationwide from last month to this month, targeting 5,000 people aged 18 and over. Preliminary results have been released based on responses from 2,729 people, which accounts for 55% of the total.
それによりますと、政府が今後どのようなことに力を入れるべきか複数回答で尋ねたところ「物価対策」が73％、「社会保障の整備」が64％、「景気対策」が59％で、「物価対策」が3年連続で最も多くなる見通しです。
According to this, when asked in a multiple-choice format what the government should focus on in the future, 73% answered measures against rising prices, 64% said improvement of social security, and 59% chose economic measures, with measures against rising prices expected to be the most common answer for the third consecutive year.
また、現在の生活にどの程度満足しているか尋ねたところ「満足」と「まあ満足」が50％で全体の半分となっています。
When asked how satisfied they are with their current life, satisfied and somewhat satisfied together accounted for 50%, making up half of the total.
食生活の満足度は「満足」と「まあ満足」が62％で、この質問を始めた平成20年以降、最も低くなる見通しです。
The combined percentage of people who are satisfied or somewhat satisfied with their diet is 62%, which is expected to be the lowest since this question began in 2008.
