Phishing scams increase in July until now.
Phishing scams use fake mails or websites to collect one’s credit card numbers.
It was reported by Anti-Phishing Council in July that there are 107,948 reports of phishing scams.
At first, there were 100,000 or more.
Phising scams also seen to use 49,188 websites; largest number reported until now.
The most used method (for phishing) is by sending a fraud email using a real company’s name.
From August, it is found that the fraud emails have used the name of the National Tax Agency.
It is written (in the mail) that, ”There is a problem with your tax payment method.”
The National Tax Agency clarified that they would never send through text messages.
