An 11 year old girl died from a severe food allergies situation.
The origin is from an adverse allergic reaction to a small particle left from brushing teeth.
According to The parents, the dentist prescribed a teeth brushing product with small particles of milk products protein included without knowing it and (she) used it.
Both parents always diligently check the product labeling to see if milk products are included but the teeth brushing ingredients were not verified.
”In this particular case, because detailed information was not given, they were not able to truly understand (the situation).
Nevertheless, food products should always carry allergen information for the all patients who it might affect”, the dentist was saying.
