Himeji Castle: A special view of the inside of the largest ”Hishinomon”
At Himeji Castle, a World Heritage Site, from the 11th, we are specially showing the inside of the ”Hishi no Mon”, which was made around the beginning of the Edo period.
”Hishi-no-mon” is located at the entrance of the castle and is the largest of the remaining gates.

The second floor seems to be a room where weapons were placed, and you can pierce enemies with spears and drop stones through holes in the floor.
