Toyota to close Russian factory Production activity ended with no prospect of restarting
Toyota Motor Corporation has announced that it will end production activities at its plant in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Due to the effects of Russia`s military invasion of Ukraine, it became impossible to procure parts, and production had been suspended since March this year.
The company will proceed with the procedures for discontinuing production, and will provide maximum support to local employees.
