フェイスブックやインスタグラムのアカウントに認証マークが付く有料サービスを今週から始めます。
金額はウェブ上では月額およそ12ドル、スマートフォンのアプリで利用すると月額およそ15ドルとなっています。
まずは、オーストラリアとニュージーランドから始めて、まもなく他の国でも展開する予定だということです。
ザッカーバーグ氏は、「この新しい機能によってサービス全体の信頼性とセキュリティを向上させる」としています。
SNSの認証マークを巡っては、ツイッターでも「ツイッター・ブルー」という有料のサービスを去年から導入しています。
