認知症の高齢者を相手に契約を結んだなどとして、消費者庁は家庭向けの電力やガスを販売する業者などに一部業務停止命令を出しました。　
The Consumer Affairs Agency issued partial business suspension orders to companies that sold electricity and gas to households and others for making contracts with elderly people suffering from dementia.
中部電力「ミライズ」と大阪ガスが出資するCDエナジーダイレクトとその委託先の2社は電力やガスの訪問販売にあたって「東京電力から来ました」などと偽って勧誘したほか、認知症の高齢者に対して契約を締結したということです。

消費者庁は、これらが特定商取引法違反にあたるとして、6カ月間の訪問販売業務の停止などを命じました。　
The Consumer Affairs Agency ordered the suspension of door-to-door sales operations for a period of six months on the grounds that these violations constituted a violation of the Specified Commercial Transactions Law.
今年3月までの3年間で295件の苦情や相談が寄せられ、ほとんどが高齢者からだったということです。　
In the three years to March this year, there were 295 complaints and consultations, mostly from elderly people.
CDエナジーダイレクトは今後も再発防止策を定着させるとしています。
