ゾウガメの体重測定と引っ越しが伊豆大島の大島公園で行われ、地元の保育園児たちが応援に駆け付けました。　
The elephant turtles were weighed and moved at Oshima Park on Izu Oshima, where local nursery school children came to cheer them on.
東京・大島町の大島公園で飼育されているアルダブラゾウガメ。
Aldabra elephant turtles are kept in Oshima Park in Oshima town, Tokyo.
世界最大級のリクガメで、毎年恒例の体重測定の結果、園内で一番大きかったのはオスの「ナナ」くん。
One of the world's largest tortoises, the male "Nana" was the largest in the park as a result of the annual weigh-in.
体重は何と213キロでした。　
The weight was a whopping 213 kilograms.
続いて、餌のアシタバに誘われて向かったのは屋外の運動場。
Then, they use food as Ashitaba leaves to lure them outside.
冬の間は温室にいましたが、暖かくなったので外に引っ越しです。
They were in the greenhouse during the winter, but now that it's warmer, they are moving outside.
応援に駆け付けた地元の保育園児たちも両手にアシタバを持ってゾウガメのもとに。
Children who are attending a local kindergarten came here to support elephant turtles, all of them holding Ashitaba leaves in their hands.

「引っ越し日和」となった青空の下、ゾウガメの餌やりに挑戦しました。　
Under the clear blue sky is an "exercise", the children try to feed the elephant turtle with their own hands.
ゾウガメは一日の最高気温が20℃以下となる11月ごろまで屋外で暮らす予定です。
The elephant turtles will live outdoors until around November, when the daily maximum temperature is below 20°C.
