民間調査会社の帝国データバンクが全国およそ800の旅館やホテルの業績を調べたところ、2022年度はホテル業態の62％、旅館業態の55％が「増収基調」だと答えました。　
Teikoku Databank, a private research firm, examined the performance of about 800 hostels and hotels across the country and found that 62% of hotels and 55% of motels responded that their revenue is "trending up" in 2022.
水際対策の大幅な緩和によるインバウンド需要の急回復や新型コロナの5類移行による国内旅行の急増が業績を後押ししました。　
Performance was boosted by a strong recovery in domestic demand due to a significant easing of border controls and a spike in domestic travel due to the coronavirus transition to Category 5.
帝国データバンクは、この回復ペースが続けば2023年度の市場規模はコロナ禍前と同じ4兆円から5兆円前後に到達する可能性があると分析しています。
Teikoku Databank analyzes that if this pace of recovery continues, the market size in FY2023 may reach around 4 to 5 trillion yen, the same as before the Corona disaster.
