国際指揮者コンクール」で、
岡山県出身の
米田覚士さんが
優勝しました。
At the Besançon International Conducting Competition in France, a gateway for young conductors where the world-renowned conductor Seiji Ozawa once won, Satoshi Yoneda from Okayama Prefecture has won the top prize.
2年に1度、フランス東部で開かれるブザンソン国際指揮者コンクールは、去年亡くなった指揮者の小澤征爾さんもかつて優勝した若手指揮者の登竜門として知られています。
The Besançon International Conducting Competition, held every two years in eastern France, is known as a gateway for young conductors, and the late conductor Seiji Ozawa, who passed away last year, was also a former winner.
ことしは、日本人3人を含む20人が本選に出場し、このうち岡山県出身の米田覚士さん（29）が、上位3人による27日の決勝に進みました。
This year, 20 people participated in the main competition, including three Japanese contestants, and among them, Satoshi Yoneda 29 from Okayama Prefecture advanced to the final round of the top three on the 27th.
米田さんは決勝で、今回の大会のために作られた曲を含む3つの課題曲に取り組み、こまやかな手さばきや全身のダイナミックな動きを使い分けてタクトを振り、会場から大きな拍手が沸き起こりました。
Mr. Yoneda took on three assigned pieces in the finals, including a piece composed specifically for this competition, skillfully conducting with both delicate hand movements and dynamic full-body gestures, which drew loud applause from the audience.
そして授賞式で優勝が発表されると、米田さんは驚いた様子で、審査委員長と抱き合って喜んでいました。
And when the winner was announced at the award ceremony, Mr. Yoneda looked surprised and hugged the head judge with joy.
米田さんは「コンクールの1週間、相当きつかったので頑張ってよかったです。
Mr. Yoneda said, The week of the competition was really tough, so Im glad I worked hard.

通じて
音楽で
一緒になれた
人が
一人でもいたら、うれしいです」と
話していました。
I dont know why we were able to win, but if there was even one person who felt united with us through the music I conducted, I would be happy, he said.
ブザンソン国際指揮者コンクールで日本人が優勝するのは、2019年の沖澤のどかさん以来で、米田さんが11人目です。
It is the first time a Japanese person has won the Besançon International Conducting Competition since Nodoka Okisawa in 2019, making Yoneda the 11th Japanese winner.
