Singapore’s first ”zero energy building”.
The ”ZEB (Zero Energy Building)” has been completed on the campus of the National University of Singapore with zero energy balance.
It was the first ZEB in the country.

The building has been used as a school building for the Design Environment Faculty since January.

According to Rum, the annual power production is about 500 megawatts, slightly more than the electricity consumed in the school.
The remaining part will enter the power network of the whole university and will be the backup power supply for the building.
