羽田空港と川崎市を結ぶ橋「多摩川スカイブリッジ」が12日、開通します。
The "Tama River Sky Bridge", the bridge connecting Haneda Airport and Kawasaki City, will open on the 12th.
多摩川を挟んで川崎市側と羽田空港が直接、行き来することができるようになります。

羽田空港と多摩川を挟んで対岸にある川崎市を直接、結ぶ橋はこれまでなく5キロほど遠回りする必要がありました。　
The bridge directly connects Haneda Airport and Kawasaki City on the opposite bank across the Tama River, a road that so far needs to travel 5km by detour.
12日に開通する「多摩川スカイブリッジ」は、長さ675メートルの一般道の橋で、両側には歩道や自転車道もあります。　
The Tamagawa Sky Bridge, which will open on the 12th, is a 675-meter public road bridge lined with sidewalks and bike paths.
羽田空港第3ターミナルの目の前から川崎市の京浜臨海部を直接、結ぶ多摩川の河口から一番近い橋になります。　
This will be the closest bridge from the mouth of the Tama River, directly connecting the Keihin coastal area of Kawasaki City from in front of Haneda Airport Terminal 3.
午前10時から開通式典が始まり、テープカットと渡り初めが行われました。　
The opening ceremony began at 10 a.m., the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the start of the crossing were also performed.
一般の通行は午後3時から予定されています。　
General traffic is expected to begin at 3pm.
来月からは路線バスも運行するということです。
From next month, bus lines will also operate.
