若手バレエダンサーの登竜門として知られるスイスの「ローザンヌ国際バレエコンクール」で、日本人2人が入賞を果たしました。
Two Japanese people have won prizes at the Lausanne International Ballet Competition in Switzerland, known as the gateway to success for young ballet dancers.
スイスのローザンヌで3日に開かれたコンクールの最終選考には、11カ国から日本人3人を含む20人が進出しました。　
Twenty people from 11 countries, including three Japanese, made it to the final selection round of the competition held on the 3rd in Lausanne, Switzerland.
選考は「クラシック」と現代舞踊の「コンテンポラリー」の2つの課題作品で行われ、東京都出身の小林愛里さんが5位、利田太一さんが9位に入賞しました。
The selection was based on two categories of works: “Classical” and “Contemporary”, Airi Kobayashi from Tokyo came in 5th place and Taichi Toshida came in 9th place.
入賞者には、世界の名門バレエ学校やバレエ団で1年間学ぶ権利が与えられ、奨学金も支給されるということです。　
The winner will be entitled to study for a year at prestigious ballet schools and ballet companies around the world, and receive a scholarship.
今回で52回目となる「ローザンヌ国際バレエコンクール」は、15歳から18歳までのダンサーが対象の国際大会で、若手の登竜門として知られています。　
The Lausanne International Ballet Competition, now in its 52nd year, is an international competition for dancers between the ages of 15 and 18, known as the gateway to success for young dancers.
去年も日本人1人が入賞するなど、例年、多くの日本の若手バレエダンサーが参加し、優秀な成績を収めています。
Every year, many young Japanese ballet dancers participate and achieve excellent results, including a Japanese winner last year.
