Toyota Invest 1.5 trillion yen in car battery Cost halving target (2021/09/08)

トヨタ自動車はハイブリッド車や電気自動車に搭載する電池を開発・生産するため、2030年までに1兆5000億円を投資すると発表しました。
脱炭素に向けて、電気自動車の普及には製造原価の約3割を占めると言われる電池のコスト削減が課題となっています。
トヨタは1兆5000億円のうち1兆円を電気自動車向けの製造ラインの増設に、残りを新型のリチウムイオン電池や新たな電池の材料の開発などに充てるということです。
2020年代後半までに1台あたりの電池のコスト半減を目指します。
世界で開発競争になっている次世代の「全固体電池」については、5年以内にまずはハイブリッド車に搭載していく計画も明らかにしました。
