川崎市川崎区の白井秀征容疑者（27）は、以前、交際していたアルバイト従業員の岡崎彩咲陽さん（20）の遺体を自宅に放置した疑いが持たれています。
Shusei Shirai, a 27-year-old resident of Kawasaki Ward, Kawasaki City, is suspected of abandoning the body of Ayasa Okazaki, a 20-year-old part-time worker he had previously dated, at his home.
調べに対し、容疑を認めているということです。
He reportedly admits to the charges during questioning.
岡崎さんはストーカー被害を周囲に訴えたあと去年12月から行方が分からなくなり、警察はこの直後から7回、容疑者から任意で事情を聞いていました。
Mr. Okazaki went missing after reporting being stalked to people around him last December, and since then, the police have questioned the suspect voluntarily seven times.
捜査関係者によりますと行方不明への関与についてはいずれも否定した一方、7回目の聴取となった3月25日には、行方不明になる前に被害者の職場付近で待ち伏せしたことを認めたということです。
According to investigators, while the suspect denied any involvement in the disappearance, during the seventh interview on March 25, they admitted to having waited near the victims workplace before the victim went missing.
その後、警察はストーカー規制法違反の疑いで捜索した容疑者の自宅で遺体を見つけました。
After that, the police found a body at the suspects home, which they searched on suspicion of violating the Anti-Stalking Act.
白井容疑者が事情聴取で待ち伏せを認めた3月25日には、被害者はすでに死亡していたとみられ、警察はこうした行為と遺体が遺棄された事件との関連についてさらに調べることにしています。
On March 25th, when suspect Shirai admitted to lying in wait during questioning, it is believed that the victim was already dead. The police are continuing to investigate the connection between these actions and the case in which the body was abandoned.
