US Intel invests up to 10 trillion yen in Europe to build semiconductor supply network
米インテルは欧州の半導体サプライチェーン（供給網）構築に向け、今後１０年間で最大８００億ユーロ（約１０兆円）を投資する計画です
Intel plans to invest up to 80 billion euros (about 10 trillion yen) over the next 10 years to build a semiconductor supply chain in Europe.
同社は１５日、まず１７０億ユーロを投じてドイツに２つの半導体工場を建設すると発表しました
The company announced on the 15th that it will first invest 17 billion euros to build two semiconductor factories in Germany.
Construction will start next year and operation will start in 2027.
研究や製造など半導体のサプライチェーンのあらゆる部分に資金を投入し、フランスやアイルランド、イタリア、ポーランド、スペインにも投資する予定です
We plan to invest in all parts of the semiconductor supply chain, including research and manufacturing, as well as in France, Ireland, Italy, Poland and Spain.
同社のゲルシンガー最高経営責任者（ＣＥＯ）は「この幅広い取り組みは欧州の研究開発イノベーションを後押しし、この地域に最先端の製造業をもたらす」と述べました
