Last month, a support group investigated what kind of problems were occurring in families raising children alone due to rising prices.

2800人にんぐらいが答こたえました

About 2800 people answered

75％の人ひとは肉にくや魚さかな、56％の人ひとは米こめやパンを買かうことができないことがあったと答こたえました

75% said they sometimes could not buy meat and fish, and 56% said they could not buy rice and bread.

このため、親おやの食事しょくじの量りょうや回数かいすうを少すくなくした人ひとが62％いました

For this reason, 62% of people reduced the amount and frequency of their parents’ meals.

子こどものおやつを少すくなくした人ひとは36％、子こどもの食事しょくじを少すくなくした人ひとは7％いました

36% said they ate less snacks for their children, and 7% said they ate less food for their children.

「子こどもがおなかいっぱい食たべることができなくて、やせてきている」という人ひともいます

A member of the group said, ”I’m worried about the health and mental problems of parents and children.

I would like the government to help families in need by spending more money.”
