The atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 74 years ago
Hiroshima City holds a ceremony to pray for peace every year on August 6th, and about 50,000 people attended the ceremony this year.
Representatives from 92 countries came from around the world
At the ceremony, a list of 319,186 names who died from the atomic bomb was put in the monument.
This list also contains the names of 5068 people, including those who died in the past year
And at 8:15 am when the atomic bomb was dropped, everyone prayed quietly
“It ’s the only country in the world that has suffered damage from the atomic bomb.”
