Statue of ”My Neighbor Totoro” in front of Tokorozawa Station, Saitama Prefecture
In front of Tokorozawa Station in Saitama Prefecture, a statue of Hayao Miyazaki’s animated movie ”My Neighbor Totoro” was created.
Director Miyazaki lived in Tokorozawa and thought about ”My Neighbor Totoro” in a nearby forest.
On the 4th, children attending a nearby kindergarten took off the cloth covering the statue and showed it to everyone.
