More than 40,000 foreigners with ”specific skills” qualifications will increase
Three years ago, the government created a qualification called ”Specific Skills” to increase the number of foreigners working in Japan.

About 90% of these people have been in Japan for some time and have changed from the qualifications of ”technical intern training” and ”study abroad”.
About 10% of newcomers to Japan have passed the ”Specific Skills” test in a foreign country.
