Children learn the etiquette of the tea ceremony and the warm feelings of welcoming guests.
A kindergarten in Kumamoto City held a meeting for children to learn the traditional tea ceremony method in Japan.
The kindergarten wanted the children to know that they would welcome customers with a warm feeling.
74 children participated
At the meeting, the tea ceremony teacher taught etiquette when making and drinking tea.
The teacher explained, ”Please turn the tea bowl twice before drinking.”

When the tea came in front of them, the children were nervous and grabbed the tea bowl with their small hands and drank the tea.
After drinking tea, he said, ”It tastes like leaves,” or ”I enjoyed the tea, although it was a bit bitter.”
