メキシコの「コロナ」ビール、生産せいさんを一時停止いちじていし

Mehican corona beer production are suspended temporarily.

　ロイター通信つうしんによりますと、商品名しょうひんめいに「コロナ」を冠かんするビールを生産せいさんしているメキシコのビールメーカー、グルポ・モデロ社しゃは３日か、「コロナ」を含ふくむビールの生産せいさんを一時停止いちじていしすると発表はっぴょうしました

According to Reuters, the Mexican beer maker Group Modelo, which produces beer with the brand name ”Corona”, announced on 3rd that it will suspend production of beer containing ”Corona”.

　「コロナ」ビールをめぐっては、新型しんがたコロナウイルスの感染かんせんが世界せかいで拡大かくだいするなか、商品名しょうひんめいが同おなじであることから販売はんばいが落おち込こんでいるとの噂うわさも流ながれていましたが、会社側かいしゃがわはこれを否定ひていしています

Regarding the ”Corona” beer,there were rumors that sales were falling due to the same brand name as the infection of the new coronavirus spreading worldwide, but the company has denied this.

同社どうしゃのビールは、主力商品しゅりょくしょうひんの「コロナ」をはじめとして世界せかいおよそ１８０か国こくに輸出ゆしゅつされています

The company’s beer is exported to about 180 countries over the world,including ”corona”.

According to the correspondent Reuter it was announced that the Mexican beer manufacturer, Grupo Modelo on 3rd, producing the beer related to the brand name ”Corona”, will halt its production of any beer that embraces ”Corona”.

Regarding the beer ”Corona”, while infections of the virus COVID-19 are expanding worldwide, the company’s side denies that this is due to the fact that their brand name is similar, even though rumours are spreading of the sales being in a slump.
