A turtle swims across the Pacific from Mexico to Kochi prefecture.
Last month in the sea of Muroto city in Kochi prefecture, there was a turtle caught in a fishing net.
Metal tags with numbers written on them were attatched to the turtle’s legs.
When examined by the aquarium in Muroto City, it was found out that this turtle was a loggerhead turtle found in the sea of Mexico in July nine years ago.
The turtle was about 30 cm larger than nine years ago.
