Lack of food on an Australia’s island where many koalas die
オーストラリアのレイモンド島という島には、コアラが２５０匹ぐらいいます
On the island of Raymond Island in Australia, there are about 250 koalas.
However, there were lots of unhappy and malnutritioned koalas, and were brought to the facility to protect, but they were on the brink of death.

On this island, they cut many trees so as not to cause forest fires.
For this reason, this facility is thinking that there are few eucalyptus trees that koalas can feed on.
Experts say that one of the reasons why there is inadequate feed is because the number of koalas on this island has increased.
The Australian government is protecting the koala specially in some places, worrying about the fact that the numbers are dwindling and they might not exist in the future.
However, there are too many koalas in such places.
