House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (82), the ruling Democratic Party of the United States, has announced her intention to step down without running for the top position in the Democratic House of Representatives in next year’s Congress.
House Speaker Pelosi announced on the 17th that she would hand over her position as top Democrat to her successor, and that she would continue to serve as a member of the House even after she retired.
