1000 days after movie “In this corner of the world”released
The animation movie “In this corner of the word” describe a woman living optimistically despite the hardships of life at Hiroshima during the time of the Pacific wars.
This movie has been in theaters since November, 2017, with its accumulated released days over 1000.
It is not so common for a movie to be on screen over 1000 days.

Sunao Katabuchi, the director of the movie, showed up at theater on August 15th.
“In the last year of Pacific Wars, more than 2.5 million people was die of bombard.” said Katabuchi,
“I hope that people could get a clear picture of war through watching this movie.”
映画を見た１８歳の女性は「戦争のあとに生まれた私たちも、戦争のことを将来に伝えていかなければならないと思いました」と話していました
One of the female interviewees(18) siad,“I consider it our responsibility to tell our next generation about the wars.”
