Decorate the area around Matsue Castle in Shimane Prefecture with andon

島根県松江市しまねけんまつえしでは、秋あきに国宝こくほうの松江城まつえじょうの周まわりや、堀ほりのそばをあんどんで飾かざる「松江水燈路まつえすいとうろ」を行おこなっています

In Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, the area around the national treasure Matsue Castle and the moat is decorated with red andon flowers in the fall.

今年ことしは9月がつ23日にちから始はじまりました

This year it started on September 23rd.

火ひをともしたあんどんを1000個こぐらい飾かざっています

It is decorated with about 1000 lit andon noodles.

会場かいじょうの中心ちゅうしんにある広ひろい場所ばしょには、市民しみんなどが作つくったあんどん475個こが並ならんでいます

The prefecture’s tourist character ”Shimanekko” and Matsue City’s flower ”peony” are written on it.

県けんの観光かんこうキャラクター「しまねっこ」や松江市まつえしの花はな「ぼたん」がかいてあります

赤あかちゃんを連つれて来きた人ひとは「夜よるが涼すずしくなって出でかけやすくなりました

The Matsue Water Light Road can be viewed from 6pm to 9pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays until October 15th.
