Confirmed action of a Chinese survey ship in the area of the Okinotoriashima EEZ zone. Japnese coast guard on alert

2日にち午後ごご、日本にっぽんの最さい南端なんたんに位置いちする沖ノ鳥島おきのとりしま周辺しゅうへんの排他はいた的てき経済けいざい水域すいいきで中国ちゅうごくの海洋かいよう調査ちょうさ船せんが事前じぜんの同意どういを得えずに活動かつどうしているのが確認かくにんされ、海上かいじょう保安庁ほあんちょうは警戒けいかいを続つづけることにしています

In the afternoon of the second, off the southernmost tip of Japan in exclusive economic waters, a Chinese ocean survey ship was found taking action without previous agreement. The Japnese coast guard is continuing to remain vigilant.

第だい3管区かんく海上かいじょう保安ほあん本部ほんぶによりますと、2日にち午後ごご1時じすぎ、沖ノ鳥島おきのとりしまの北東ほくとうおよそ150キロの日本にっぽんの排他はいた的てき経済けいざい水域すいいきで、中国ちゅうごくの海洋かいよう調査ちょうさ船せん「深海しんかい一いち号ごう」が停泊ていはくしたまま海中かいちゅうにワイヤーのようなものを延のばしているのを警戒けいかいにあたっていた海上かいじょう保安庁ほあんちょうの航空こうくう機きが見みつけました

According to the coast guard’s headquaters in district three, around 1pm on the second, about 150km northeast of okinotorishima in Japan’s exclusive economic waters, a Chinese ocean survey ship called deep sea one laid anchor and extended a wire-like thing found by a plane from the vigilant coast guard.

このため海上かいじょう保安庁ほあんちょうは、航空こうくう機きから調査ちょうさ船せんに対にたいし「事前じぜんの同意どういがない調査ちょうさ活動かつどうは認みとめられない」と、無線むせんで活動かつどうの中止ちゅうしを求もとめましたが従したがわなかったことから、現場げんばに巡視じゅんし船せんを向むかわせて警戒けいかいを続つづけることにしています

Because of this the japanese coast guard, from a plane in regards to the survey ship, said over radio, ”We cannot accept investigation actions based on no previous agreement.” Because they agreed to stop their actions, an inspection ship proceeded with caution to their location.

第だい3管区かんく海上かいじょう保安ほあん本部ほんぶによりますと、過去かこ10年間ねんかんで中国ちゅうごくの海洋かいよう調査ちょうさ船せんが沖ノ鳥島おきのとりしま周辺しゅうへんの排他はいた的てき経済けいざい水域すいいきで事前じぜんの同意どういを得えることなく活動かつどうを行おこなうのは今回こんかいで10回かい目めで、ことしも5月つきと8月つきに確認かくにんされているということです

According to the coast guard headquarters of district three, in the past ten years chinese survey ships have acted in exclusive exonomic waters near okinotorishima without previous agreeement ten times. And this year it was also confirmed in May and August.
