Honda and Subaru have lowered their final profit forecasts for this year.

Major car makers Honda and Subaru have downgraded their business outlook for this year.
In a press release issued on the 5th this month, Honda said that as of its mid-year ended September, the increase in sales of vehicles, decline in business costs and foreign exchange gain of 48 billion yen have led to an increase in revenue and profit.
On the 5th of this month, Subaru too lowered its final profit forcast for this year to 110 billion yen, from 140 billion yen.
This year’s global production is expected to fall by 130,000 to 860,000 vehicles.
The company has revised upward its forecast for its full year financial performance. But excluding the effect of the weaker yen, it is actually a downward revision, with a cloudy outlook.
