JAXA announces test for people who want to become astronauts.

Japan and the USA are planning on exploring the moon together.
On the 19th, JAXA announced it will conduct a test to select Japanese astronauts to participate in this plan.
To be able to take the test, at least three years of work experience are required, and to be able to ride the spacecraft, one’s height must be between 149.5cm and 190.5cm.
Previously, only those who studied science at university were eligible, but now those who have not been to university are also able to take the test.
申し込みは、12月20日から来年3月4日までです
Application is from December 20th to March 4th next year.
JAXA said it would conduct the tests and interviews and then announce the results around February 2023.
JAXA said it wants those who have leadership and the power to convey their experience in space to many people to become astronauts.
