An international student hears about the tsunami from a man whose daughter died
2011年の東日本大震災のとき、宮城県石巻市の大川小学校に大きな津波が来て、生徒と先生84人が亡くなりました
At the time of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, a big tsunami hit Okawa Elementary School in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, killing 84 students and teachers.
On the 11th, about 20 international students from Ishinomaki Senshu University went to Okawa Elementary School and heard about the tsunami.
Noriyuki Suzuki, whose daughter, who was in the sixth grade, died, said that after the tsunami, she dug up the soil and searched for children.
Okawa Elementary School did not take students to high places after the earthquake
Mr. Suzuki said, ”Please think about what kind of danger you have and be sure to run away.”
