All climbing routes on Mt. Fuji cannot be used this summer.

富士山ふじさんに登のぼる道みちは静岡県しずおかけんと山梨県やまなしけんに４つあって、毎年まいとし７月がつから９月がつの夏なつの間あいだにたくさんの人ひとが登のぼります

There are [a total of] four routes to climb Mt. Fuji in Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures, and many people climb each summer between July and September.

多おおくの人ひとが一度いちどに登のぼるときがあるため、２つの県けんは今年ことし、全部ぜんぶの道みちを通とおることができないようにすると決きめました

The two prefectures decided not to allow [the use of] all routes this year, as many people may climb at once

人ひとがたくさん集あつまると、新あたらしいコロナウイルスが広ひろがる心配しんぱいがあるためです

This is because when a lot of people gather, there is the concern that the new coronavirus will spread.

富士山ふじさんに登のぼる道みちが全部ぜんぶ通とおることができなくなるのは、記録きろくがある１９６０年ねんから初はじめてです

It is the first time since 1960, that (there’s a record) of all routes being closed on Mt. Fuji.

登のぼる途中とちゅうで休やすむ山小屋やまごやも全部ぜんぶ閉しめるため、使つかうことができません

Because all huts for resting during the climb will also be closed, it is not possible to use them.

静岡県しずおかけんは「今年ことしは富士山ふじさんに登のぼらないで、遠とおくから見みて楽たのしんでほしいです」と話はなしています

Shizuoka Prefecture said, ”I hope you don’t climb Mt. Fuji this year and enjoy it from a distance.”
