Food poisoning with a sports drink in a ”kettle”
On the 6th of this month, 13 elderly people became food poisoning in places where the elderly people in Oita live.
Elders had diarrhea and nausea when they drank sports drinks in a kettle
If you put a sports drink or juice in a metal kettle or water bottle with scratches or water marks, the acid in the drink may melt the metal.
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare says, ”Read how to use a kettle and water bottle, and be careful not to damage it and wash it thoroughly before using.”
