卵たまごの値段ねだんが今いままででいちばん高たかくなる

JA全農ぜんのうたまごによると、16日にち、東京とうきょうで売うるMサイズの卵たまごは1kg335円えんで、今いままででいちばん高たかくなりました

According to JA zennoh eggs, on the 16th, (of February) the medium sized eggs sold in Tokyo were 335 yen per Kilo, and became the most expensive they’ve been so far.

先月せんげつの平均へいきんより55円えん高たかくて、175円えんだった去年きょねん2月がつの2倍ばいに近ちかくなっています

Compared to last months average it’s gone up by 55 yen, close to 2 times (as expensive as) the 175 yen that they were last year (per 1kg).

値段ねだんが上あがっている理由りゆうは、ロシアがウクライナに攻撃こうげきをしていることや円安えんやすなどで、にわとりが食たべる餌えさが高たかくなっていることです

The reason for the increasing price is that, due to the attack of Russia on Ukraine and also the weakening of the Yen, the feed that chickens eat is currently more expensive.

そして、にわとりなどに鳥とりインフルエンザという病気びょうきが広ひろがって、たくさんのにわとりを殺ころしているため、卵たまごが足たりなくなっています

Also, a disease called the bird flu that affects chickens and other birds has spread, and due to it killing a lot of chickens, there aren’t enough eggs.

鳥とりインフルエンザは春はるごろまで注意ちゅういが必要ひつようです

We need to be careful with bird flu until around spring.

にわとりをまた育そだてて、卵たまごを産うむようになるまでには時間じかんがかかるため、卵たまごの値段ねだんはしばらく高たかいままかもしれません

As it takes time for chickens to grow and start laying eggs again, egg prices may remain high for some time.
