ほぼ消去されていたことが
捜査関係者への
取材で
分かりました。
In the case where a womans body was abandoned in Kawasaki City, it has been learned from interviews with investigators that, as of January this year, data on the arrested ex-boyfriends smartphone had been almost completely erased.
警察は、女性が行方不明になった直後の任意の事情聴取の際にはスマホを調べておらず、あとになって女性とのやり取りも含めて消えているのが判明したということで、警察は当時の対応について確認を進めています。
The police did not check the smartphone during the voluntary questioning conducted right after the woman went missing, and later it was discovered that messages, including those exchanged with the woman, had been deleted. The police are now reviewing their response at the time.
この事件では川崎市川崎区の白井秀征容疑者（27）が、以前、交際していたアルバイト従業員の岡崎彩咲陽さん（20）の遺体を自宅に放置した疑いで逮捕されています。
In this case, Hideyuki Shirai 27 from Kawasaki Ward, Kawasaki City, has been arrested on suspicion of leaving the body of Ayasa Okazaki 20, a part-time worker he previously dated, at his home.
岡崎さんは、容疑者からのストーカー被害を周囲に訴えたあと、去年12月から行方が分からなくなり、警察はこの直後から容疑者から任意で事情を聞いていました。
Mr. Okazaki went missing after reporting being stalked by the suspect to people around him, and since last December, his whereabouts have been unknown. The police have been voluntarily questioning the suspect since right after this.
捜査関係者によりますとこのうち、ことし1月の聴取で、容疑者のスマートフォンを調べたところ、SNSのアカウントが消され、岡崎さんとのメッセージのやり取りも含めてデータなどがほぼ消去されていたことが判明したということです。
According to investigators, during questioning in January of this year, when they examined the suspect’s smartphone, they found that the SNS accounts had been deleted and that almost all data, including message exchanges with Ms. Okazaki, had also been erased.
行方不明になった直後の去年12月の聴取では、容疑者が「残っていると連絡を取ってしまうので全部消した」などと説明し、この時はスマホを調べていなかったということで、警察は、消去したいきさつについて捜査するとともに当時の対応について確認を進めています。
In the interview conducted immediately after the disappearance last December, the suspect explained, I deleted everything because if anything remained, I might contact them. At that time, the police did not examine the smartphone, so they are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the deletion as well as reviewing their response at the time.
