JRA Ritto Training center in Shiga catch fire
According to Konan Large Area Fire Protection department in Shiga Prefecture, There has been a fire accident reported today around 5:30PM in Ritto training center of JRA=Central Japan`s Raising Association located in Ritto City.
There have been 10 fire trucks in the field to remove the fire, however all horses being raised inside of the three buildings were all burn.
According to the police, As of yet, there were no people being harmed, but four of the racehorses in the Kyuu building were burned-out.
NHK Helicopter footage shows the on going fire accident in the barn which almost covered with massive smoke
Some parts of the barn`s roof are already seen being burnt to ashes.
Multiple fire trucks on action to continue to fight the fire.
There are two branches of Ritto Training Center across japan and one of them is the Horse Raising Association in Central Japan which has been the training base.
According to JRA, Approximately 1.5 million square meters of land in Ritto City, Shiga Prefecture, There are six tracks and slope where more than 2,000 racehorses being lived, trained and maintained. There are total of 1,400 employees as Jockeys, Trainers and relief workers.
