27日にかけて本州の広い範囲で局地的に激しい雨が降るおそれがあり、気象庁は土砂災害や低い土地の浸水に十分注意するよう呼びかけています。
There is a risk of heavy localized rain over a wide area of Honshu through the 27th, and the Japan Meteorological Agency is urging people to be on alert for landslides and flooding in low-lying areas.
気象庁によりますと、日本海付近にある前線を伴った低気圧や台風から変わった熱帯低気圧の影響で、西日本から北日本にかけての広い範囲で大気の状態が非常に不安定になり局地的に雨雲が発達しています。
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, due to a low-pressure system with a front near the Sea of Japan and a tropical depression that was formerly a typhoon, the atmosphere is extremely unstable over a wide area from western to northern Japan, with rain clouds developing locally.
午前6時までの1時間には岡山県の鏡野町上齋原で37ミリの激しい雨を観測しました。
In the one hour up to 6 a.m., 37 millimeters of heavy rain was observed in Kamisaibara, Kagamino Town, Okayama Prefecture.
このあともあす明け方にかけて、西日本から北日本の広い範囲で大気の非常に不安定な状態が続く見込みで、局地的に雷を伴って激しい雨が降るおそれがあります。
It is expected that the atmosphere will remain extremely unstable over a wide area from western to northern Japan through early tomorrow morning, and there is a risk of heavy rain with thunderstorms in some areas.
あす朝までの24時間に降る雨の量はいずれも多いところで、東北と近畿で100ミリ、関東甲信と東海、それに中国地方で80ミリと予想されています。
The amount of rainfall expected in the next 24 hours until tomorrow morning is forecast to be up to 100 millimeters in Tohoku and Kinki, and up to 80 millimeters in Kanto-Koshin, Tokai, and the Chugoku region.
これまでの雨で地盤が緩んでいるところがあり、気象庁は土砂災害や低い土地の浸水、川の増水に十分注意するとともに落雷や竜巻などの激しい突風にも注意するよう呼びかけています。
Due to the recent rain, there are areas where the ground has become unstable. The Japan Meteorological Agency is urging people to be very cautious of landslides, flooding in low-lying areas, and rising river levels, and also to watch out for severe gusts such as lightning and tornadoes.
雷の音がしたり冷たい風が吹いたりするなど、発達した積乱雲が近づく兆しがある場合は、すぐに頑丈な建物の中に移動するなど、安全確保に努めて下さい。
If you notice signs that a developed cumulonimbus cloud is approaching, such as the sound of thunder or a cold wind blowing, please make sure to secure your safety immediately by moving into a sturdy building.
