気象庁によりますと、日本海付近にある前線を伴った低気圧や台風から変わった熱帯低気圧の影響で、西日本から北日本にかけての広い範囲で大気の状態が非常に不安定になり局地的に雨雲が発達しています。

あす朝までの24時間に降る雨の量はいずれも多いところで、東北と近畿で100ミリ、関東甲信と東海、それに中国地方で80ミリと予想されています。

これまでの雨で地盤が緩んでいるところがあり、気象庁は土砂災害や低い土地の浸水、川の増水に十分注意するとともに落雷や竜巻などの激しい突風にも注意するよう呼びかけています。
