They agreed to continue deepening exchanges between the two countries in various fields such as the economy and culture.
就任後初めて日本を訪れている韓国のイ・ジェミョン大統領は、23日に石破総理大臣と会談したのに続き、24日午前、東京都内のホテルで、日韓議員連盟の会長を務める菅元総理大臣や、公明党の赤羽副代表、共産党の志位議長ら議員連盟の幹部と、およそ40分間会談しました。
After arriving in Japan for the first time since taking office, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung held talks with Prime Minister Ishiba on the 23rd. この中で菅氏は「観光をはじめ草の根の交流から日韓関係を盛り上げていきたい」などと述べ、経済や文化などさまざまな分野での両国間の交流を重ねていくことで一致しました。

また、会談では、北東アジアの安全保障環境を念頭に、日韓両国に加えアメリカを含む日米韓3か国の連携の強化なども話題になったということです。

会談のあと、議員連盟の幹事長を務める長島総理大臣補佐官は記者団に対し「就任から短期間での訪日となり、よい流れができつつある。

このあと、イ大統領は同じホテルで立憲民主党の野田代表ともおよそ30分間会談しました。
