The amount of rainfall expected in the 24 hours up to the morning of the 4th is, in areas with heavy rain, 120 millimeters in Tohoku and Kanto-Koshin, and 100 millimeters in Niigata Prefecture.

Due to the recent rain, there are areas in northern Japan and Niigata Prefecture where the risk of landslides and river water levels are rising.
